The high strength of the laser welded nodes allows for rolling and handling during fabrication without node disbonding.

Honeycomb Core Splicing

Benecor honeycomb core blankets can be spliced by resistance welding. Core blankets of varying heights and densities can be joined.

Graphite / Titanium Honeycomb

Titanium honeycomb core advantages in graphite bonded structures

  • Laser welded nodes & square cell yield high shear strength (with balanced L&T properties) and extremely high compressive strengths
